Fachan: An ogre with one eye, one foot, and one arm. They are antisocial and would chase away intruders with their spiked clubs.

Faeries: A hidden race of magical beings that dwell within a pocket dimension. They usually appear as small winged humanoids, while early traditions described them as tall and radiant immortal beings. They are capriccios, cunning and can be dangerous when offended. But will do favors if a mortal shows respect to them.   

Faun: A cousin to the satyr in Greece, but they are gentle, good natured, friendly, shy and have small horns. 

Fear Gorta: An entity that takes the form of gaunt elderly man. He appears during times of famine.
Finfolk: A race of amphibious humanoids the dwell benth the surface of the lake. They will kidnap a human and make them their slaves.

Fir Darrig: A solitary faery from Irish folklore, they have the appearance of a rat, they causes practical jokes on mortals.


Flying Head: A monstrous disembodied head from Iroquois mythology. Described by many people with having thick black hair, wings attached to it’s head and is taller than the average human. They’re said to the be the soul of a person who has been viscously decapitated and while terrifying people.   

Frogmen : Amphibious humanoids. 


Fossegrimen: A Scandinavian water spirit that resides in waterfalls. They take the form of a young man and are excellent violin players and often lure their victims to dance in the river or drown. 
Folletti: Small invisible faeries with their toes are pointed backwards. They have the ability to change the weather.
Formorians: A race of monstrous entities with grotesquely misshapen bodies of humans or animals body parts.  They were defeated by the Tuatha De Danann.

Futa-Kuchi-Onna: A female youkai that appears as an ordinary human woman, however it has a second mouth on the back of its head. They’re known for their voracious appetites and use its hair to grab any food.



Furarbi: A bird yokai, with the face of a dog with a fiery aura surrounding it body. They are known to float aimlessly. Some say they are the souls of an enormous family that have been massacred.


Funayurei: The souls of people who’ve died at sea.

Ebu gogo: A race of humanoid monkeys form Flores Indonesia that were thought to be extinct. They communicate in a parrot like fashion and have a habit of steeling food from people’s houses.   

Elves: A race of beings with magical skills, ambivalent towards humans and capable of either helping or hindering them. They are usual depicted as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests, mountains, and other natural places, or as small trickster creatures. They also had some power over time, in that they could entrap humans with their music and dance. Generally they are long-lived, if not immortal.

El Cucuy: The spanish version of The Boogieman 

Eleionomae: Mash nymphs.

Elementals: Spirits of nature divided into four beings. Undines are associated with water, gnomes are connected with the earth, djinni are an embodiment to fire, and sylphs are affiliated with the air. They would work with magicians and alchemists.    

Emela-ntouka: A creature that resembles a rhinoceros, but with the size of an African Bush Elephant. The name translates to killer of elephants, but in fact they only feeds on Malombo and other leafy plants. 

Empusa: Female vampiric demons that feed on the blood of their victims, usually young men. They are depicted wearing brazen slippers, with the leg of a donkey on the left and prosthetic leg made of brass on the other, and flaming hair.  

Encantados
Shape shifting river creatures that originated from Brazilian Folklore. They appear as Pink River Dolphins on water, and change into humans on land.

Enfield
A creature with head of a fox, the forelegs of an eagle, the chest of a greyhound, the body of a lion, the hindquarters and the tail of a wolf.


Ettin: A two headed giant

Erymanthian Boars
A gigantic boar with razor shaped tusks with bad temper and kills anyone that gets in their way.
The Erlking: A goblin like entity that has been known to steal children's souls. 

Erinyes: The spirits of vengeance who would avenge those who have wronged and torment them in the underworld. 


Ethiopian Pegasus: A rare breed of winged horned horses founded in Ethiopia

Deer Woman: Appearing as an attractive woman on upper half with deer legs instead of feet. She would seduce young men and then attack them by stomping them to death.   


Demons: Found in world religions and folklore. They are the opposites of angels, who bring chaos and darkness to the world.


Dryads: Tree spirits from Greco-Roman Mythology that take the form of women. The dryads are very connected with the trees they live in. If the tree is cut down, the dryad will die.


Dragon, Western: The typical dragon is depicted in the medieval Europe and modern day America. They are the most famous being with the ability to breath fire, kidnap princess and hording treasure. According to European folklore, they are considered malevolent and an enemy to mankind.



Dragon, Eastern: The Eastern dragon is easily recognizable for its long serpintine body that is generally wingless, and its anthropomorphic face, complete with beard. The river dragon is generally considered a supernatural or spiritual symbol of heavenly power. The differences between Chinese and Japanese dragons, is that Chinese dragons have five toed talons, while Japanese dragons have three talons.  


Diwata: Philippine nymphs that guard natural places. They are said to reside in large trees. They will bring blessings or cures to those who respects or harm to the forest.


Dobhar-cu: A hybrid of a dog and otter that is known to live in lakes. They are known for their appetite for human flesh.



Duende: Little humanoid creatures from the Philippines, they reside in homes or underground. They bring luck, good or bad, depending on how the homeowners treat them.

Doppelganger: A spirit that takes the form of certain person that looks vaguely similar.


Domovoi: A house spirit from Russian folklore.  They are very helpful around the household, but if angered they will cause havoc.



Dokkaebi: A race of grotesque troll like beings from Korean folklore. They enjoy playing tricks on mean people and reward good people with blessings.


Dwarves: A dwarves are a race of short and stocky humanoids from Northern Europe. They are connected with the Earth and are excellent miners, engineers, and craftsmen.


Doro-ta-bo: A youkai with a single eye and a muddy body. They are resurrected corpses of poor farms that died in their rice fields. 

Drude: Demons blamed for possession.


Draugr: Undead Vikings that live between sea and land. They jealously guard their treasure on their graves. They can even increase their size at will.  



Drop Bear: A carnivorous koala bear that attacks its prey by dropping from trees.


Dullahan: A faerie spirit that appears as man on horseback, but carries his head in one arm and a whip made from a spine bone. When ever it appears at the time when a person is near death. 


Duergars: Malevolent dwarves of northerner England. They delight in leading lost travelers astray. There weakness is the sun, 
and will turn to stone when they are touched by it rays. 

Dybbuk: Demonic spirits of Jewish folklore.

Caladrius: A white bird with healing abilities.



Catoblepas: The catoblepas is a legendary creature from Ethiopia. Its head is always pointing downwards, hence its name which means "to look downwards" in Greek. The creature is said to have the head of a hog and the body of a buffalo with scales on its back. Its stare or breath could either turn people into stone, or kill them.



Cait Sith: A huge black cat being as large as a dog, with a white spot on its breast, with an arched back and erect bristles. Just like a real cat, Cait Sith could be ferocious if stumbled upon.

Camblion
Human/demon hybrid offspring’s.


 Caipora: A brazilin shape shifting nature spirit trickster. He can appear as a small Indian man with long dark hair or an anthropomorphic looking fox. They enjoy confusing hunters when they get lost or don’t respect the laws of nature.   



Calygreyhound: A creature with the head of a wildcat, the torso of an antelope, the claws of an eagle on the front, the hind legs of a lion and the tail of a lion. 



Canaima: Were-jaguar



Calydonian Boar: A monstrous boar with razor shaped tusks that can pierce though any steel and



Centaurs In Greek Mythology, the centaurs are a race of mythical creatures that are half human and half horse. They are depicted as the head and torso of a man with his waist joined to the horse's withers, where the horse's neck would be.


Cretan Bull: A fire breathing bull


Ceryneian Hind: A deer with golden antlers that is considered to be a sacred animal and fast runner. Considered to be a sacred animal to the goddess Airtimes


Changeling: Sometimes, faeries would steal infants and replace them with a changeling.  





Chupacabra: The chupacabra is a legendary cryptid rumored to inhabit parts of South America. The name comes from the animal's reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats. It is supposedly a heavy creature, the size of a small bear, with a row of spines reaching from the neck to the base of the tail.


Chrun Milk Meg and Melch Dick: A gnome couple that guards over unripened nuts and fruits, and will pinch anyone who would dare pick their nuts. They despise laziness and enjoy practical jokes.  





 Chaneque: Small goblin-like nature spirits of Aztec mythology. They would frighten away mortals that intrude their forest.




Chinese Dragon: The Chinese dragon is easily recognizable for its long serpentine body that is generally wingless, the horns of a deer, the scales of carp, lion's mane, the talons of an eagle and the face of crocodile, complete with beard. Unlike the traditional European Dragon, they are considered to be a  symbol of heavenly power, bringing rain and good fortune.



Chochinobake: The paper lantern monster has the ability to float about by carrying itself down lonely paths to lead mortals astray. It may also start fires to damage homes and property. The chochinobake also has the ability to collapse itself and suddenly pop up to surprise the unwary human.

Chrysomallus: 
A ram with golden hairs and horns.
Cherufe: 
A monstrous volcano dwelling humanoid, know to cause eruptions. In order to satisfy this beast, a sacrifice must be made.

Clurichauns: A close relative of the leprechauns, they inhabit the wine cellars and drink a lot.
Crunaeae: Fountain nymphs


Curupira: The Curupira is a male supernatural being who guards the forest in Tupi mythology of Brazil. 
He usually takes the form of a boy with (literally) flaming hair and green teeth. His most startling characteristic, however, is that his feet are turned to face backwards.



Cu Sith: An enormous fairy hound of the Scottish Highlands. Roughly the size of a cow or large calf, the Cu Sìth was said to be dark green in color with shaggy fur and a long braided or curled tail and glowing or flaming eyes.


Cwn Annwn: Spectral hounds with whitish hair, with red tipped ears. They possess great speed and are great hunting dogs for faerie hunts.



Cyclops: A race of one-eyed giants from the Greek legends.  They are experts on metalsmiting.
