Ebu
gogo: A race of humanoid monkeys form Flores Indonesia that were thought to be
extinct. They communicate in a parrot like fashion and have a habit of steeling
food from people’s houses.
Elves: A race of beings with magical skills, ambivalent
towards humans and capable of either helping or hindering them. They are usual depicted as
youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests, mountains, and other natural places, or as small
trickster creatures. They also had some power over time, in that they could
entrap humans with their music and dance. Generally they are long-lived, if not immortal.
Eleionomae:
Mash nymphs.
Elementals: Spirits of nature divided into four beings. Undines are associated with water, gnomes are connected with the earth, djinni are an embodiment to fire, and sylphs are affiliated with the air. They would work with magicians and alchemists.
Emela-ntouka:
A creature that resembles a rhinoceros, but with the size of an African Bush
Elephant. The name translates to killer of elephants, but in fact they only
feeds on Malombo and other leafy plants.
Empusa:
Female vampiric demons that feed on the blood of their victims, usually young
men. They are depicted wearing brazen slippers, with the leg of a donkey on the
left and prosthetic leg made of brass on the other, and flaming hair.
Encantados
Shape
shifting river creatures that originated from Brazilian Folklore. They appear
as Pink River Dolphins on water, and change into humans on land.
Enfield
A
creature with head of a fox, the forelegs of an eagle, the chest of a greyhound,
the body of a lion, the hindquarters and the tail of a wolf.
Erymanthian
Boars
A
gigantic boar with razor shaped tusks with bad temper and kills anyone that
gets in their way.
Erinyes:
The spirits of vengeance who would avenge those who have wronged and torment
them in the underworld.
