Galley Beggars: Known to inhabit ancient burial sites. This entity is known to frighten it’s victim by removing it’s head.

Gargoyles: Stone demon like creatures that guard building from any dark spirit.

Gamayun: A bird with the face a beautiful woman with the ability to see the future.
Gandharvas: Male nature spirits, that are usually depicted with animal parts. They are the male counterparts of the Apsaras and are skilled in music. 

Gargouille: A dragon like creature found in France, with 4 legs, wings and a serpent like body. Their are a water-spouting dragon and are known to terrorize people on boats.


Garuda: Human/bird hybrid, he is the steed to Vishnu and eater of serpents. Symbol of strength and valor.
Gancanagth: A seductive male faery, known to seduce mortal woman and eventual the woman will die.
Gashadokuro
A gigantic skeleton, which were formed from the bones of people who died of starvation. They prey on humans by biting off their head and drink their blood.
Gaueko
A spirit that takes the form of anthropomorphic dog. They are in charge of not letting humans walk after dark and punish those who would have the courage to step outside the darkness.
Gegeness: A race of six armed giants that known to inhabit the island of Doliones.
German: Spirits that bring rain and hail. If they are asked for help, they will bestow rain and the help the crops grow. But can bring downpours and droughts.
Geryon: A three headed, six armed, and six legged giant. Who owns a double headed hound and heard of cattle. He was eventually defeated by Heracles.

Ghouls
Found in Middle Eastern folklore, these undead creatures have been known to lurk in graveyards. They have an appetite for human flesh, both dead and alive. There also known to shape shift into scavenger animals. 
Ghillie Dhu : A guardian birch tree spirit from Scottish folklore. They are seen a shy and misanthropic, but are kind to children.   
Gigelorum: Said to be the smallest creature, they are known to live inside the ear of a mite.
Girtablilu: A centaur version scorpions, they are the bodyguards of Shamash, the god of the sun, and gatekeepers to The Realm of Darkness.


Griffin: The griffin has the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. Seen as guardians of secretly buried wealth, the griffin evolved from a ferocious animal of antiquity to become a symbol of strength and valor.
Gryla: An ogress form Iceland that has been known to kidnap naughty children on Christmas Eve. She is the mother of the Yule lads and the owner to the Yule cat.
Green Man: Male gaurdians of the forests. Usualy depicted with having a beared face made from leaves.

Ghosts
Ghosts are shadows of the deceased person’s life. Many reasons explain about why ghosts are bound to Earth, because of unfinished business in life, they weren’t properly buried, seeking revenge, or concerned for their loved ones. 
Genius: Invisible spirits, that guide and watch over a person’s life.


Gnomes
Depicted as very small people, often men that live in dark places, especially underground, in the depths of forests, or more recently in gardens. They are some times helping with plants and animals, some helping the household chores. While others are reclusive and prefer to stay underground or in dark forests, perhaps hoarding treasure, and others interacting mischievously or even harmfully with humans. 


Goblin: Goblins are wicked little creatures from Germanic and British Folklore, often believed to be the evil or merely mischievous opposite of the more benevolent faeries and sprits of lore.  Despite local variations, goblins have almost universally been described as troublemakers. They are either simply tricksters or mischievous, like immature children, or actually malevolent, evildoers, dangerous to human beings.

Gremlins
A gremlin is an English folkloric creature, commonly depicted as mischievous and mechanically oriented, with a specific interest in aircraft. Legends concerning gremlins arose from airmen who claimed that failures in their craft were due to sabotage by gremlins.

Gorgon
In Greek Mythology, the Gorgons were three vicious female mythical creatures that lived on an island and possessed the ability to turn a person to stone by looking at them. They possessed both beautiful and hideous traits, the most famous being their head of coiled snakes instead of hair. Of the three, Medusa is perhaps the most famous of the Gorgons, being the only one of the three who was mortal. She, like many such creatures, met her doom at the hands of the hero Percus aided by the Gods.



Golem: Beings created from clay and are brought to life by magicians to do their bidding.

Giants
A race of human like creatures, known for their enormous size. Found in different folktales from around the world. They can be good or bad, wise or stupid.
Glaistig
A female water fae with the legs of a goat and clad in a green dress. She has been known for their two natures. She can seduce men and drink their blood, or help with children, the elderly or heading cattle.

Gragedd Annwn
Welsh water faeries.  If a mortal man take these faeries as their brides, their offspring will grown up to become famous physicians, doctors and even world leaders.

Grindylow: Malevolent water dwelling goblins, that are known to grab unsuspecting victims when they are close to the water’s edge. 
Gwyllions: Misanthropic mountain faeries from Welsh folklore. They are known to frighten travelers or mislead them. But if treated with kindness, they will not harm them.
Gui Po: A spirit that takes the form of a friendly old woman. They work in the households of rich families and retuned to those who help around the house.

Gui Shu: A rather mischievous tree spirit that are known to cause travels to become lost.
Gulon: Usually described about the size of a dog, the head and claws of a cat, a thick coat of fur, and the tail of a fox. It is a gluttonous creature for it’s strange eating habits after killing it’s victims.
Gurumapa: A child devouring demon from Hindu mythology.

Fachan: An ogre with one eye, one foot, and one arm. They are antisocial and would chase away intruders with their spiked clubs.

Faeries: A hidden race of magical beings that dwell within a pocket dimension. They usually appear as small winged humanoids, while early traditions described them as tall and radiant immortal beings. They are capriccios, cunning and can be dangerous when offended. But will do favors if a mortal shows respect to them.   

Faun: A cousin to the satyr in Greece, but they are gentle, good natured, friendly, shy and have small horns. 

Fear Gorta: An entity that takes the form of gaunt elderly man. He appears during times of famine.
Finfolk: A race of amphibious humanoids the dwell benth the surface of the lake. They will kidnap a human and make them their slaves.

Fir Darrig: A solitary faery from Irish folklore, they have the appearance of a rat, they causes practical jokes on mortals.


Flying Head: A monstrous disembodied head from Iroquois mythology. Described by many people with having thick black hair, wings attached to it’s head and is taller than the average human. They’re said to the be the soul of a person who has been viscously decapitated and while terrifying people.   

Frogmen : Amphibious humanoids. 


Fossegrimen: A Scandinavian water spirit that resides in waterfalls. They take the form of a young man and are excellent violin players and often lure their victims to dance in the river or drown. 
Folletti: Small invisible faeries with their toes are pointed backwards. They have the ability to change the weather.
Formorians: A race of monstrous entities with grotesquely misshapen bodies of humans or animals body parts.  They were defeated by the Tuatha De Danann.

Futa-Kuchi-Onna: A female youkai that appears as an ordinary human woman, however it has a second mouth on the back of its head. They’re known for their voracious appetites and use its hair to grab any food.



Furarbi: A bird yokai, with the face of a dog with a fiery aura surrounding it body. They are known to float aimlessly. Some say they are the souls of an enormous family that have been massacred.


Funayurei: The souls of people who’ve died at sea.

Ebu gogo: A race of humanoid monkeys form Flores Indonesia that were thought to be extinct. They communicate in a parrot like fashion and have a habit of steeling food from people’s houses.   

Elves: A race of beings with magical skills, ambivalent towards humans and capable of either helping or hindering them. They are usual depicted as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests, mountains, and other natural places, or as small trickster creatures. They also had some power over time, in that they could entrap humans with their music and dance. Generally they are long-lived, if not immortal.

El Cucuy: The spanish version of The Boogieman 

Eleionomae: Mash nymphs.

Elementals: Spirits of nature divided into four beings. Undines are associated with water, gnomes are connected with the earth, djinni are an embodiment to fire, and sylphs are affiliated with the air. They would work with magicians and alchemists.    

Emela-ntouka: A creature that resembles a rhinoceros, but with the size of an African Bush Elephant. The name translates to killer of elephants, but in fact they only feeds on Malombo and other leafy plants. 

Empusa: Female vampiric demons that feed on the blood of their victims, usually young men. They are depicted wearing brazen slippers, with the leg of a donkey on the left and prosthetic leg made of brass on the other, and flaming hair.  

Encantados
Shape shifting river creatures that originated from Brazilian Folklore. They appear as Pink River Dolphins on water, and change into humans on land.

Enfield
A creature with head of a fox, the forelegs of an eagle, the chest of a greyhound, the body of a lion, the hindquarters and the tail of a wolf.


Ettin: A two headed giant

Erymanthian Boars
A gigantic boar with razor shaped tusks with bad temper and kills anyone that gets in their way.
The Erlking: A goblin like entity that has been known to steal children's souls. 

Erinyes: The spirits of vengeance who would avenge those who have wronged and torment them in the underworld. 


Ethiopian Pegasus: A rare breed of winged horned horses founded in Ethiopia

Deer Woman: Appearing as an attractive woman on upper half with deer legs instead of feet. She would seduce young men and then attack them by stomping them to death.   


Demons: Found in world religions and folklore. They are the opposites of angels, who bring chaos and darkness to the world.


Dryads: Tree spirits from Greco-Roman Mythology that take the form of women. The dryads are very connected with the trees they live in. If the tree is cut down, the dryad will die.


Dragon, Western: The typical dragon is depicted in the medieval Europe and modern day America. They are the most famous being with the ability to breath fire, kidnap princess and hording treasure. According to European folklore, they are considered malevolent and an enemy to mankind.



Dragon, Eastern: The Eastern dragon is easily recognizable for its long serpintine body that is generally wingless, and its anthropomorphic face, complete with beard. The river dragon is generally considered a supernatural or spiritual symbol of heavenly power. The differences between Chinese and Japanese dragons, is that Chinese dragons have five toed talons, while Japanese dragons have three talons.  


Diwata: Philippine nymphs that guard natural places. They are said to reside in large trees. They will bring blessings or cures to those who respects or harm to the forest.


Dobhar-cu: A hybrid of a dog and otter that is known to live in lakes. They are known for their appetite for human flesh.



Duende: Little humanoid creatures from the Philippines, they reside in homes or underground. They bring luck, good or bad, depending on how the homeowners treat them.

Doppelganger: A spirit that takes the form of certain person that looks vaguely similar.


Domovoi: A house spirit from Russian folklore.  They are very helpful around the household, but if angered they will cause havoc.



Dokkaebi: A race of grotesque troll like beings from Korean folklore. They enjoy playing tricks on mean people and reward good people with blessings.


Dwarves: A dwarves are a race of short and stocky humanoids from Northern Europe. They are connected with the Earth and are excellent miners, engineers, and craftsmen.


Doro-ta-bo: A youkai with a single eye and a muddy body. They are resurrected corpses of poor farms that died in their rice fields. 

Drude: Demons blamed for possession.


Draugr: Undead Vikings that live between sea and land. They jealously guard their treasure on their graves. They can even increase their size at will.  



Drop Bear: A carnivorous koala bear that attacks its prey by dropping from trees.


Dullahan: A faerie spirit that appears as man on horseback, but carries his head in one arm and a whip made from a spine bone. When ever it appears at the time when a person is near death. 


Duergars: Malevolent dwarves of northerner England. They delight in leading lost travelers astray. There weakness is the sun, 
and will turn to stone when they are touched by it rays. 

Dybbuk: Demonic spirits of Jewish folklore.
